With well over 36 years experience in driver training, THE NYTHE SCHOOL OF MOTORING can offer customers a comprehensive service.  The school has instructors that are fully qualified and it specialises and caters for nervous pupils.  The school offers hourly tuition in fully dual controlled cars and intensive and semi-intensive courses if required.  Discounts for advance bookings are available.  Pupils normally remain with the same instructor and the same model car throughout their period of tuition.

Our aim is to equip our pupils with road safety knowledge and driving skills to enable each and every one to be a safe and confident driver.  Nervous pupils are our speciality, and by using a caring and understanding approach, can be taught to overcome their fears as they gain confidence in the art of driving.

Established in 1974, the NYTHE SCHOOL OF MOTORING with many years' experience in all aspects of driving and driving tuition, feels that we can offer you an excellent professional and personal service.

The aim of the courses is to eliminate the need for weekly hour long lessons and enable pupils to spend a few days learning to become proficient safe drivers, with the objective of taking the Driving Standards Agency practical test on the final day of their course

We are always willing to fit in pupils at short notice.  The driving test appointment will then be the first available cancellation, and may be at any time or day of the week.

The courses are structured to deal with the individual needs of the pupil, ranging from the complete novice, to one who may have had previous experience.  It is important to choose the appropriate course to suit your own needs and ability.

Intensive courses consist of 4 hours of driving instruction daily, usually 2 hours a.m. and 2 hours p.m. Semi-intensive consist of 2 hours of driving instruction daily to suit your availability.  You may find you need an assessment lesson to help you decide which course you require.

Once you have decided to take an intensive course, you need to feel that you will receive professional tuition to the highest standard.  All our instructors are fully qualified and display their licence on the windscreen.  The instructors have several years of teaching experience behind them and are able to pass the benefit of this to their pupils.

Further to this we do not have several pupils in the car at the same time when under instruction.  We have always to the principal of one instructor to one pupil at all times.  It is very important that instructors and pupils build up and understanding relationship, in order that the instruction can be fully covered.  One or two other pupils in the car may not help in building the pupils confidence in their own ability.  As insufficient individual attention will be given, and the time available will be limited.  It can also be stressful to the pupil to have additional spectators in the car.

Courses should be booked allowing as much notice as possible, especially if required during the school holidays.  Should you need any further information, or have any problems you would like to discuss, we shall be pleased to help in any way.

Pass Plus, Motorway, Advanced, and Refresher courses are also available for those qualified drivers who wish to improve on their standard of driving.  You can take Pass Plus anytime after passing the practical driving test.  It consists of a series of 6 lessons which include out of town, motorway, and dual carriageway driving.  This course enables the new driver to claim 1 years no claims with their insurance company providing the insurance company is participating in the scheme.  The school's comprehensive package offers friendly, personal attention at all times combined with efficient professional environment.
